Pre-k

 I seriously don't know where summer went???  Reagan started Pre-k at FAmily of Christ a week late because we were in Oklahoma.  She was so excited to go.  Her new teacher this year is Mrs. Ring.  Her friend Jillian is in her class.  

Four years old and getting smarter everyday!! You have grown so much! You love being in the pool.  You are swimming all over the place now with your life jacket on.  You love going down the slide. You love Salami and cheese sandwiches and pizza of course.  You love to color.  You have gel pens that you like to color with.  You love animals.  You have been interested in building with legos.  You like to watch Toy Story 3, Despicable Me, Monsters in Paris, Rio.  You love to make Dexter laugh.  You are a good helper most of the time!  You like to stand up tall and say "look how tall I am"  and "look how long my hair is getting".  You love unicorns. You know your letters and are getting better at writing them.  You love to play outside.  We love you so much...

Oklahoma

 Just a few days after we got back from our cruise we took off again to Oklahoma to visit Katie, Kasey and Brielle.  We had a GREAT time.  We visited the science museum where the girls had a great time doing the various activites. They loved the giant lite bright and making shadows in the dark room.  

 We enjoyed shopping near Oklahoma City, went to Frontier City (which is an amusement park).  The girls loved riding the rides.

 We went for walks in the morning and went to a splash pad downtown after we visited a waffle place for lunch.  

 The girls had a lot of fun at a place called Unpluggits where they were able to play and paint.  They both decorated bird houses.  Reagan brought hers home and we had to buy bird seed so that we could hang it in our tree.

 Dexter loved hanging out with everyone. He enjoyed all the attention!  We spent one of our days swimming at Katie's friends pool.  We also went to a birthday luncheon for katie.

 We went to a place called POPS on Route 66 where we enjoyed lunch and got to pick out a soda from a million different flavors.

 Reagan and Brielle loved being together riding bikes and barbie jeep.  They did not want to sleep together at night.  Reagan, Dex, and I shared a room.  We had so much fun visiting them!

Cruisin

 We had such a great time on our cruise!  We had grandma come to watch the kids while we were gone.  We flew to Miami and set sail from there.  We traveled to half moon cay, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, Grand Turk.  We went Kayaking on half moon cay and hung out in the beautiful water.  

 We enjoyed the various activities on the ship going to comedy shows, the casino and playing different trivia games.

 St. Thomas we rode to a beautiful beach and Sterling enjoyed scuba diving while I hung out on the beach. In Puerto Rico we enjoyed a city tour and shopping.  We also toured on of the forts built on the island.

 In Grand Turk we did power snorkeling out in the middle of the ocean. 

 Sterlings favorite thing on the ship is Hot chocolate with soft serve Ice cream in it!!

Summer Happenings

 You and Dexter were good travelers on the way back from grandmas.

 The day we came home we picked up your cousin Kylie at the airport so that she could stay with us for a few weeks.  We went to villa and had fun at the pool together.  You are getting so brave at the pool.  You will put your face under the water and you want to go in the deeper water. 

 We went to Chickfila for lunch.....

 One of the days we went to the butterfly pavilion. They had a tarantula named rosie that you held 2 times.  You were not scared at all.  The guy said your hand was relaxed and that you weren't even nervous.  I was FREAKING out!!!!

 We also got to see all the beautiful butterflies and you got to pick one up that had a broken wing.

Grandmas House

 Dexter loved taking baths in grandmas sink.  You loved spending time with all of the family.  You are standing up on everything and crawling all over.  You still don't have any teeth, but you love to eat everything.  You smile a lot and you are a very mild tempered child. You don't cry very often at all and when you do you get happy as soon as someone holds you or pays attention to you.  You laugh at Annie and grab onto her hair.  You are still waking up once at night for a bottle.

 One of the days in Utah we went to park city with the family. We ate at a mexican restaurant for lunch.  We got tickets to go on the roller coaster and alpine slide.  We had to wait in line for a while but it was so fun.  On the coaster I drove as fast as I could. You screamed with delight and then after a little bit you wanted me to slow down because you said you were getting sick!  

 You wanted to ride on the alpine slide with Kasey so I rode by myself in front of you.  You are so strong willed!  You are such a sweet child when you want to be.  You love to give kisses and hugs.  You are very good at entertaining yourself.  You like to boss Dexter around and you try to pick him up sometimes.  You like to play toys and color.  You are pretty good at staying in the lines.  You love to play games on the iPad or phone.  You like watching despicable me, and toy story.  While we were in Utah Kasey took you and Brielle to see despicable me 2.  

July 4th

 Right before we left for grandmas house on July 2 Dex decided to start climbing the stairs for the first time.  I came from upstairs and saw you doing this! Reagan was so excited to go to grandmas house.

 We made a pit stop at the american girl doll store on the way to the airport to exchange your caroline doll for another one. You decided that you wanted Kit.  We also got Gracie her dog too.

 For the fourth of July we woke up and went to the Murray parade.  You and Brielle loved getting the candy and watching the floats.  I braided both of your hair so that it looked liked a star, and you both had matching outfits. Grandma got you the headband with streamers that you wanted to wear all day!

 Dexter liked sitting in his tiger chair that grandma bought!  He just kind of hung out in it!

 After the parade we went to cracker barrel for breakfast/brunch.  Dexter was so funny.  He was trying all the food and drank out of a straw for the first time.

We went to the stadium of fire in provo that night.  It was really HOT!  we watched the performances and had fun.  Reagan enjoyed dancing to the music.  When the fireworks started Dexter flipped out.  He started crying and shaking.  I took him out and tried to calm him down but they were SO loud.  It took a good 20 minutes for him to stop crying.
